1. Overview

Welcome to BUMZY.

BUMZY operates this website and online store at https://www.bumzy.in. The terms “BUMZY”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the business operating the BUMZY store.

Our website, customer accounts, checkout, content, products, features and related services are collectively referred to as the “Services”. Our online store is hosted and powered by Shopify.

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Services and any purchase made from BUMZY. By accessing our website, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and the policies referenced in them.

Please do not use the Services if you do not agree with these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable rights available to consumers under applicable Indian law.

2. Eligibility and Customer Accounts

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding purchase transaction to place an order.

If a product is purchased for or used by a minor, the order must be placed and supervised by a parent or lawful guardian.

You may browse the website and complete checkout without creating a compulsory customer account. If you use a customer account, you are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete information

  • Maintaining control over your email address, phone and authentication methods

  • Informing us promptly about suspected unauthorised access

  • Ensuring that account activity complies with these Terms

We may restrict or suspend an account where we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse, repeated COD refusal, unlawful activity or a material violation of these Terms.

3. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to display product descriptions, specifications, dimensions, colours, images and other details accurately.

However:

  • Colours may vary depending on screen settings, lighting and photography.

  • Minor differences may exist between product images and the delivered product.

  • Measurements may have reasonable manufacturing variations.

  • Product packaging may change without materially changing the product.

  • AI-generated or lifestyle images, where used, are illustrative and should be read together with the product specifications and actual product images.

Please review the complete product description, dimensions, materials, included contents, usage instructions and warnings before ordering.

We may correct product information, update descriptions or discontinue products when reasonably necessary.

4. Prices and Taxes

All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees unless stated otherwise.

Unless clearly indicated, displayed consumer prices are intended to include applicable taxes. Any delivery charge, discount or other payable amount will be shown before the order is submitted.

Current BUMZY delivery pricing is generally:

  • ₹59 standard delivery for eligible orders below ₹699

  • Free standard delivery for eligible orders of ₹699 or more

Applicable rates shown during checkout will govern the transaction. Shipping offers may be changed for future orders.

Prices, offers and discounts may change without notice. Changes will not affect an order already accepted, except where there is an obvious pricing or technical error and the order has not been fulfilled.

5. Orders and Acceptance

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the selected products.

An order confirmation acknowledges that we received the order; it does not prevent us from conducting payment, inventory, address, COD or fraud-verification checks.

BUMZY may decline or cancel an order before dispatch for reasonable grounds, including:

  • Product unavailability

  • Incorrect pricing or product information

  • Payment failure

  • Invalid or incomplete address

  • Failed COD verification

  • Suspected fraud, resale or abuse

  • Serviceability limitations

  • Legal or regulatory restrictions

If we cancel a prepaid order, we will initiate the applicable refund to the original payment method.

We may limit order quantities to protect limited inventory, prevent resale or address suspected misuse.

6. Payment

Available payment methods are displayed at checkout and may include UPI, cards, net banking, wallets and Cash on Delivery.

Online payments may be processed by Cashfree Payments or another authorised payment provider. Payment providers may apply their own terms, security checks and privacy practices.

You confirm that:

  • You are authorised to use the selected payment method.

  • Payment and contact information provided by you is accurate.

  • You will pay the total amount displayed and accepted at checkout.

BUMZY does not ask customers to share UPI PINs, card PINs, CVV details or banking passwords through calls, email, WhatsApp or social media.

7. Cash on Delivery

Cash on Delivery may not be available for every order, product, PIN code or customer.

We may verify a COD order through phone, email, OTP, WhatsApp or another reasonable method before dispatch.

BUMZY may place a COD order on hold or cancel it where:

  • The customer cannot be contacted

  • Contact or address information is incomplete

  • The PIN code is not serviceable

  • There is a history of repeated refused or undeliverable orders

  • Fraud or misuse is reasonably suspected

The customer must pay the full COD amount to the authorised delivery partner when accepting the parcel.

Repeated refusal of confirmed COD orders may result in COD being restricted for future purchases.

8. Shipping and Delivery

Orders are shipped to the address provided during checkout.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate:

  • Recipient name

  • Phone number

  • House, apartment or building details

  • Street and locality

  • City, state and PIN code

  • Delivery instructions where required

Delivery estimates are indicative and not guaranteed. Delays may occur because of courier operations, weather, public holidays, remote locations, address issues, government restrictions or events beyond reasonable control.

Tracking information will be provided where available.

If a package appears lost, damaged or incorrectly delivered, contact support@bumzy.in so that we can investigate with the delivery provider.

9. Failed Delivery and Return to Origin

A shipment may be marked Return to Origin (“RTO”) if delivery cannot be completed because of:

  • Customer refusal

  • Repeated customer unavailability

  • Incorrect or incomplete address

  • Unreachable phone number

  • Failure to pay the COD amount

  • Courier serviceability or operational issues

For prepaid RTO orders, any approved refund will be handled after the shipment returns and is reviewed, subject to applicable deductions disclosed in our policies and applicable law.

BUMZY may restrict COD for accounts, addresses or phone numbers associated with repeated avoidable RTO orders.

10. Cancellation

Customers may submit a cancellation request within 1 hour of placing an order through:

A cancellation request does not automatically cancel the order. We will review and confirm whether cancellation is possible.

Cancellation may not be available after an order has been packed, handed to a courier or shipped.

If an accepted prepaid order is cancelled before dispatch, the applicable refund will be initiated to the original payment method.

11. Returns, Replacements and Refunds

Eligible products may be returned within 7 days after delivery, subject to our Return, Refund and Cancellation Policy.

For an eligible change-of-mind return, a flat ₹99 return shipping fee applies once per return.

This fee is waived for an accepted claim involving:

  • A wrong product

  • Transit damage

  • A verified manufacturing defect

  • Missing parts or accessories

  • A product materially different from its description

Some products may be non-returnable because of hygiene, safety, perishability, personalisation or final-sale status. These restrictions do not remove applicable remedies for products that are damaged, defective, incorrect or materially misdescribed.

12. Promotions and Discount Codes

Promotions, coupons, gifts and discount codes may be governed by additional conditions.

Unless stated otherwise:

  • Only one discount may be used per order.

  • Discounts cannot be exchanged for cash.

  • A code must be applied before checkout is completed.

  • Promotions are subject to availability and specified dates.

  • A promotion may be withdrawn for future orders.

  • Fraudulent or unintended use may result in cancellation.

If promotional terms conflict with these Terms, the specific promotional terms will apply to that promotion.

13. Reviews, Feedback and User Content

If you submit a review, photograph, video, testimonial, suggestion or other content, you confirm that:

  • It is based on your genuine experience where represented as a review.

  • You own it or have permission to submit it.

  • It does not violate another person’s intellectual property or privacy.

  • It is not unlawful, defamatory, abusive, fraudulent or misleading.

  • Any incentive received in connection with the content is disclosed.

You grant BUMZY a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and display submitted content for operating, improving and promoting BUMZY, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

We may moderate or remove content that violates these Terms, but we are not obligated to publish every submission.

14. Intellectual Property

The BUMZY name, logo, tagline, website design, original text, graphics, photographs, videos and other original brand materials are owned by or licensed to BUMZY and protected under applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may use the website for personal and lawful shopping purposes.

Without written permission, you must not:

  • Copy or republish substantial website content

  • Use BUMZY branding in a misleading manner

  • Reproduce product photography for commercial use

  • Scrape or extract website data at scale

  • Interfere with website security

  • Create a false association with BUMZY

Third-party names, trademarks and materials remain the property of their respective owners.

15. Prohibited Conduct

You must not use the Services to:

  • Violate applicable law

  • Commit fraud or make an unauthorised payment

  • Provide false identity, payment or delivery information

  • Introduce malware or harmful code

  • Attempt unauthorised access

  • Abuse customer support, delivery personnel or other persons

  • Infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights

  • Place orders with no genuine intention of accepting or paying for them

  • Manipulate offers, reviews, refunds, returns or COD facilities

  • Interfere with the website or another customer’s use of it

We may take reasonable protective action, including refusing orders or restricting access, where such conduct is suspected.

16. Third-Party Services and Links

Our Services may use or link to third-party services, including Shopify, payment providers, courier aggregators, delivery companies, analytics providers and social-media platforms.

BUMZY is not responsible for an unrelated third-party website or service outside our reasonable control. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

This provision does not limit BUMZY’s responsibility for its own obligations relating to your order.

17. Relationship With Shopify

BUMZY is powered by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce technology used to operate the store.

Products sold through the BUMZY store are sold by BUMZY, not Shopify. Questions, claims or requests relating to a BUMZY order should be directed to BUMZY at support@bumzy.in.

Shopify’s role in processing personal data is described in our Privacy Policy and Shopify’s applicable privacy documentation.

18. Privacy

Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Our Privacy Policy explains how BUMZY, Shopify, payment providers, delivery partners and other service providers may process information for checkout, fulfilment, customer support, security, marketing and legal compliance.

19. Service Availability and Errors

We aim to keep the website accurate and available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Occasionally, information may contain typographical, pricing, inventory, shipping or technical errors. We may correct such errors and contact affected customers when an order requires modification or cancellation.

We will not use an error-correction clause to avoid obligations for an order that has already been lawfully completed, except as permitted under applicable law.

20. Product Use and Safety

Customers must follow all product instructions, warnings, age guidance, care instructions and safety information supplied with the product.

Products must not be used for an unintended or unlawful purpose.

BUMZY is not responsible for damage caused solely by misuse, unauthorised modification, improper storage, failure to follow instructions or normal wear and tear.

Nothing in this section excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.

21. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, BUMZY is not liable for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable and was not caused by our breach, negligence or unlawful conduct.

BUMZY does not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including applicable liability for:

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

  • Deliberate misconduct

  • Personal injury caused by negligence

  • Defective products where statutory liability applies

  • Breach of non-waivable consumer rights

Any remedy will be determined according to the circumstances, our applicable policies and Indian law.

22. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for losses reasonably arising from your unlawful use of the Services, infringement of third-party rights, fraudulent conduct or material breach of these Terms.

This section does not require a consumer to indemnify BUMZY for BUMZY’s own negligence, legal violations or breach of obligation.

23. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time.

We may restrict access or suspend a customer account where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, abuse, security threats or violation of these Terms.

Termination does not affect rights and obligations relating to completed orders, outstanding payments, returns, refunds, privacy or legal claims.

24. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and purchases from BUMZY are governed by the laws of India.

We encourage customers to contact support@bumzy.in first so that we can attempt to resolve concerns promptly.

Nothing in these Terms prevents an eligible consumer from approaching a consumer commission, regulatory authority, court or other forum having jurisdiction under applicable Indian law.

25. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our business, Services, policies or legal obligations.

Updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Changes will apply prospectively unless applicable law requires otherwise.

26. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary. The remaining provisions will continue to apply.

27. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the policies and order-specific information presented on the website, form the agreement governing your use of the Services and purchases from BUMZY.

If there is a conflict, order-specific information and mandatory applicable law will take priority, followed by the relevant policy and these Terms.
